4. REFUNDS
(a) Registration Fees
If, having paid your registration fee, circumstances intervene to prevent you from continuing your studies, you may apply for a refund. Only applications received by November 26, 2009 will be considered. (Exemption fees are non-refundable). In the event of a refund being agreed, an administration fee amounting to 25% of the registration fee will be retained by the Institute.
(b) Examination Fees
If exceptional circumstances, such as illness, accident or bereavement, are likely to interfere with you sitting examinations, please contact the Institute as early as possible so that we can try to accommodate you, either by transferring or refunding the fees. Once the examination registers have been dispatched to the centres (1 week before the first day of the session) we cannot interfere with them, so results will indicate a 'No Show'. However, you should still inform us of your situation. Any notification received once the examinations have begun or after the examinations cannot be acted on.
