CASE STUDY GUIDELINES
STRUCTURE
Title - Use a title that clearly describes the subject of the case study and includes keywords that you think marketing people may use in an online search. (c.10 words)
Introduction - Provide background information about the company, location and any other relevant details to provide context. (c.250 words)
Problem - Describe the challenge that faced the business, the consequences, and any unsuccessful attempts to resolve the problem. (c.1000 words)
Solution - Describe the process of choosing a electing a solution, the implementation and any problems or unexpected consequences that were encountered. (c.1000 words)
Conclusion - Summarise the outcomes including how the results were evaluated and in particular, identify the lessons learned. (c.250 words)
STYLE
The presentation of the case should appeal to marketing practitioners, requiring clear and succinct writing in business language, and avoiding excessive theoretical analysis.
Include photos (jpeg or gif format) and quotes where possible.
